Who we are

Starf is run by MIPP Group UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, whose registered office is Knowledge Centre, Wyboston Lakes, MK44 3BY. We are the controller of the information described here. You can contact us at hello@starf.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you join the pilot we collect your name, work email, company name, number of staff and, if you tell us, what you use for HR today. We use these only to contact you about the Starf pilot and to set you up if you take part.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked to hear from us about the pilot, and we need these details to reply.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details or share them for marketing. Two companies help us run this website, under contracts that protect your information:

• Supabase stores the sign-ups, in its London data centre.
• Vercel hosts the website pages.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until the pilot ends, and never for more than 12 months. If you become a customer, your details move into your Starf account and that account's terms apply.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies or tracking, and loads nothing from advertising or analytics companies. The demo saves its pretend data in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted, at any time, by emailing hello@starf.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Using Starf itself

When a business uses Starf for its staff records, that business decides how its staff's information is used, and Starf handles it on its behalf. A separate notice and agreement cover this, and will be provided before any business adds staff records.
